Ioannis Theofanous
Athlete, champion, teacher, federal coach, lecturer, organizer, sports ambassador of Greece to the world.
Ioannis Theofanous is all of these and more. He is the person who, with his journey from 1987 until today, has connected his story with the journey that has led to the rise and development of combat sports in Greece.
It is enough to reflect on the image of, for example, kick boxing or boxing, in the distant 1987, in Greece, when it was “struggling” in the shadow of team sports such as basketball, football and individual sports such as tennis, and few children dared to take the decision to engage in this. Among this brave minority, was Ioannis Theofanous. Compare that image with today, a period when striking mixed martial arts are a vibrant, colorful, multidimensional world, which moves thousands of professionals and amateurs, regardless of gender, age, origin, economic and social status and educational level. A world that now shines thanks to the acceptance, recognition and healing properties of its movements, principles and teaching, for body, spirit and soul.
This present became a reality thanks to some of the few, that never left the fight and continued to fight both on the mat and in the ring but also in their every daily moment in life. One of these people is Ioannis Theofanous. With his indiscernible presence in all phases of the evolution of martial arts in Greece and his hard efforts to create the ideal context of initiation, training and matches for the current and next generation of champions, often against adverse conditions. With his regular missions to every corner of the planet with a goal that initially seemed impossible, but in the end became possible and blue and white, the colors of the Greek flag became – unexpectedly – the colors of the winners. With the constant search for knowledge of new developments, innovative tactics, high-level strategies, unprecedented trends and methods at the global level and their introduction to Greece. One of the few, therefore, who today is among the leading factors in the transformation of the Greek fighting sports reality.
Today, with his interest in combat sports, Ioannis Theofanous emerges as the ideal destination for any choice. For the athlete who wants to see his career as he envisioned it. For the club that wants to level up, for the organization that is looking for a way to become a magnet for every combat sports fan. For parents who wish for the safe and healthy engagement of their children with an activity that educates, protects their sociability and builds character and strength. For professionals who seek the development and evolution of their competitive skills for the benefit of their duties or function. For amateurs who are looking for the hobby that will forge the body and revitalize their physical condition. For the protagonists of developments and media, who want to combine relaxation from everyday pressure with an inexhaustible source of strength, balanced training, confidence and strengthening of their mental reserves.
Discover among the wide range of services that bear the signature of Ioannis Theofanous, the one that accurately corresponds to your own profile, lifestyle, social, work status and come into contact with a world that guarantees only benefits, privileges and pleasant rewards to whoever embraces and makes it his own.
